YOUTH DEPARTMENT NEWS
Today Sunday, June 1, 2025, the Youth Department will be having a Bake Sale immediately after church service. Please support the Youth by making a purchase.
On Friday, June 27, 2025 at 7 pm. the Youth Department will be sponsoring the Twenty-fourth Annual Youth Recognition Program. This is an opportunity for parents/guardians and the Good Neighbor Family members to encourage our youth for their accomplishments at home, in church, in sports, academically, etc. Don’t miss this opportunity to be a positive force in the lives of our youth. Deadline for applications is Sunday, June 8, 2025. Applications and a recent picture can be given to Trustee Mary Thomas or emailed to mthomas128@aol.com.
On Saturday, July 12, 2025 the Youth Department will be sponsoring a trip to Dorney Park.(Rain Date is Saturday, August 2, 2025). Tickets are $40.00 per person; All-day dining is $32.99; Single Meal ticket is $19.49; and Souvenir Bottle is $18.99 We have one (1) fifty-five (55)-passenger bus, so please sign up and have one-half deposit of your ticket All money is due by Sunday, June 29, 2025. Bus will leave at 8:30 a.m. sharp!!
We are also trying to determine how many of you would like chip in to rent a Dorney Park Cabana. Please note the separate Sign-up Sheet with the prices. For more information see Trustee Mary Thomas.
Special Note: Dorney Park no longer accepts cash at the park. Kiosks are available to convert cash to prepaid debit cards that can be used anywhere.
The Sewing/Craft Class will resume on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:30 am.

PASTORS AIDE NEWS
On Sunday, June 8, 2025 Rev. Blackwell & Leading Lady Blackwell will be celebrating 30 years of Service and Retirement. This celebration of service will convene here at Good Neighbor Baptist Church. The Speaker of the hour will be Rev. Jeffrey Bryan, Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Roselle NJ. Time 10:00 am.
After 30 years of pastoring our beloved Pastor will be retiring. On Friday, June 13, 2025, please join in celebration of our Shepherd Rev. Dr. George A. Blackwell III and Leading Lady Min. B. Helena Blackwell. The Celebration will be held at the Galloping Hill Caterers, located at 325 Chestnut St, Union NJ Time 7:30 pm.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL NEWS
The GNBC Vacation Bible School for all ages will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 - Friday, July 18, 2025 and Monday, July 21, 2025 -Friday, July 25, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Come out and be a part of these two weeks of spiritual enrichment. SENIOR CLUB NEWS
Grand Re-Opening for 2025 is Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Thereafter, open every Wednesday, May - December, 2025 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Free Breakfast 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Free Lunch 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Also, Games and activities. USHER BOARD/TRUSTEE NEWS
The Usher/Trustee Board is sponsoring a bus ride to Sights and Sound Theater to see “Noah” on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Lunch will be at Golden Corral; Shopping at Farmer’s Market and Tangers Outlet. Tickets are $170.00;Children $105. A Non-Refundable Deposit of $30.00 is due March 10,2025 to secure seat.
