YOUTH DEPARTMENT NEWS
The Sewing/Craft Class will resume on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11:30 am. Bring 1½ yards any fabric that is 60 inches wide for this session.
The Youth Department will be holding a drawing on Sunday, September 21, 2025 for the Basketball Hoop that is on the stage. Anyone who would like to be a part of the drawing, please give your name to Trustee Mary Thomas. The winner of the drawing will be responsible for picking up and transporting the hoop to its destination.
SCHOLARSHIP NEWS
Save the date! On Sunday, July 27th we’ll be celebrating our scholars! In lieu of purchasing a ticket for a banquet this year we’re asking members to make a pledge to the scholarship fund to benefit all of the honorees.
SIS. LOUISE MURPHY COOKOUT
On Sunday, August 10, 2025, we will be having our Sis. Louise Murphy Cookout immediately after service. The church will supply the meats, but we are looking for volunteers to work and provide the side dishes. Please give your name to any Trustee or place your name on the Sign up Sheet. The side dishes needed for the cookout are the following:

USHER BOARD/TRUSTEE NEWS
The Usher/Trustee Board is sponsoring a bus ride to Sights and Sound Theater to see “Noah” on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Lunch will be at Golden Corral; Shopping at Farmer’s Market and Tangers Outlet. Tickets are $170.00;Children $105. A Non-Refundable Deposit of $30.00 is due March 10,2025 to secure seat. We have immediate openings for church nurses this position will serve the Pulpit, music ministry and congregation. The hours; One Sunday a month (your choice), & every 1st Sunday.
